What is SAML and its basic definition?
Security Assertion Markup Language is a one of the well-establised, secure protocol which is used extensively by enterprises and the government for sharing identity data. These data use XML data structures and simple HTTP or SOAP for data transport mechanisms. When we say about the SAML an IDP (Identity Provider) provides user data (like Name, email or attributes etc.) when it is requested by a service or RP(Relying Party). | |
