Basic definition of IAM?
Identity and Access Management(IAM) basically manages the users and device access to cloud and platform application. Here users can be Employees, Customer, statekholders etc. and the device which is supported by IAM include computer, routers, smartphones, sensors, tablet etc.
One of the main feature of IAM tool is that it issues a single digital identity and password to users. So their identities should be managed to protect the organizational information from falling into the wrong hands. | |
