| Name the different types of backups available in Azure?
To get high availability of data as well as storage Azure mainly supports 3 methods of backup:-
(1)LRS(Locally Redundant Storage):-In this types of backup LRD copies data 3 times in a centralized storage unit within the same region. But when we say about cost it is very cost-effective options for safeguarding data against local hardware breakdowns.
(2)GRS(Geo-redundant storage):-When we say about GRS it is a standard and most preferred backup mode which replicates data to a secondary region far away from the primary location of source data. It is more expensive then the LRS but when we say about the resilience it provide better resilience, even in the event of a local disruption.
(3)ZRS(Zone-redundant storage):-It is type of data backup is done in available zone which ensure data retention and durability in same zone. We can backup our essential activities that involve data retention and must run without disruption since ZRS has zero latency. | | |
