| Define linking function and its types in Angular?
In Angular link basically combines the directives with a scope and helps to produce live view. And link function is also responsible for register DOM listeners and also to update the DOM. Once the template is cloned it is executed. Below are the two types of linking function in Angular:-
(1)Pre-linking function:-Pre-Linking function are executed before the child elements are linked. And it is not considered as a safe way for DOM transformation.
(2)Post linking function:-Post linking function is mainly executed after the child elements are linked. It is safe to do DOM transformation by Post-linking function. | | |
