As the name suggest Hybrid it is some merging of different things. Hybrid OLAP mainly uses a combination of multi-dimensional data structures and relational database tables which is used to store multidimensional data. And aggregations for a HOLAP partition are stored by analysis services in a multidimensional structure. And the facts are stored in a relational database. | | |
