Different complex data types in Hive?
Here i have define 4 main complex data types in hive
(1)MAP:-Here MAP contains a key-value pair where we can search any value by using the key.
(2)Struct:-Struct is same as we use in c# which is a collection of different data types. To understand this we will take a example of address. In address we have HouseNo and Pincode plus some locality so this will contains string and numeric values.
(3)Array:-Array is collection of homogeneous elements to understand this we will take a example of department list there should be n number of items in arraylist.
(4)UnionType:-It represents a column which can have a value that can belong to any of the data types of your choice.
