Richfaces is and Ajax enabled open source compoenent library for JavaServer Faces. RichFaces are designed and developed by JBoss. With the helps of RichFaces it is quite easy to integrate Ajax capabilities into enterprise application development. One of the feature of RichFaces is reusable markups and Ajax capabilities to a JSF developer wheather we have any prior knowledge of front end. And After JSF 2 the developemnt of Richfaces comes and we can also say Richfaces was developed over JSF 2 so we can say life cycle of both are same.
